Valorizing Bushland

200,000 hectares of savanna transformed into agricultural hub

Feed the DRC, Power Sankuru, Valorize Our Resources

PAGRIES (Integrated Agro-Industrial and Energy Hub of Sankuru) is an integrated development project combining agriculture, hybrid solar-biomass energy, agro-food industry, cultural tourism, and oil exploitation. Our innovative approach valorizes 200,000 hectares of bushland (savanna) wrongly considered infertile, thus preserving forests while creating wealth and jobs.

A unique model: Hydrocarbons for Infrastructure

Agricultural Innovation

Breaking Beliefs, Preserving Forests

Traditional Approach

  • Agriculture in forest areas
  • Progressive deforestation
  • Belief: bushland infertile
  • Limited yields

PAGRIES Approach

  • Bushland/savanna valorization
  • Zero deforestation
  • Demonstration: fertile bushland
  • Large-scale mechanized agriculture

This project is totally innovative by transforming lands that nobody cares about into a granary for the DRC.
